Treatment-Resistant Depression

Whole-Person Assessment

At THE ALEPH CENTER, PLLC, our approach to treatment-resistant depression begins with a comprehensive, whole-person evaluation. Adults 18+ receive a detailed review of medical history, psychiatric symptoms, medications, sleep, nutrition, and social context. We deliver this thorough assessment in-person in Tucson or through secure Telemed/Video as part of coordinated mental health treatment.

Personalized, Evidence-Based Interventions

We tailor care when standard treatments have not provided relief. After evaluation, our interdisciplinary team discusses individualized options, including medication management and interventional psychiatry.

We evaluate and recommend evidence-based choices such as electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) — provided at Sonora Behavioral Health — and arrange referrals when appropriate for rTMS, DBS, or ketamine/esketamine (Spravato). Every plan is guided by clinical data, patient goals, and safety considerations rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Integrated Therapy and Ongoing Support

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a cornerstone of our mental health treatment. CBT is combined with pharmacologic and interventional strategies to address unhelpful thoughts, build coping skills, and support sustained recovery. We provide psychotherapy, biofeedback, coordinated follow-up, and 24/7 on-call access for established patients to ensure continuity of care.

If treatment-resistant depression is affecting your life, contact our office at (520)-885-5558 to schedule a comprehensive evaluation and begin a collaborative, individualized plan for recovery.
